SAVILLS has appointed Joe Phegan as managing director of its Victorian operations, in addition to his current role as national head of valuation and advisory.
Phegan has been working his way up the valuation ranks at Savills for the past 12 years.
“Over the past few months, Joe has been leading the Victorian business with great success over what have been some of the most challenging market conditions,” Paul Craig, CEO of Savills and New Zealand said.
“His unwavering professional integrity and dedication to the business are attributes that make him the perfect individual to continue the progression of the Victorian business and drive it to new heights,” he said.
Phegan said, “Despite the COVID disruptions that appear likely to continue throughout 2021, we are clearly seeing a greater level of activity across all markets.”
Craig added that Savills is focussing on aggressively growing the Victorian business; both organically to further strengthen its core disciplines as well as considering many acquisition opportunities in the currently disrupted market.
Savills’ national valuation and advisory team has hit a record year-to-date revenue.
