AFTER nearly 40 years at McGees Property Brisbane, Greg Clarke is stepping aside as a director and will continue to consult the agency’s team.
Clarke joined McGees Property in 1983 as valuation manager and was appointed a director in 1988 with the responsibility for valuation and professional services practice direction, professional development, marketing and staff training.
Scott Campbell, head of valuation and professional services, will head that part of the business after working alongside Clarke for the past 20 years.
Clarks plans to increase his involvement as a director of Exceed Capital Pty Ltd, a property funds management business with $100 million of assets under management, an his role as Queensland chair of the Property Industry Foundation.
“As fellow directors, we — Justin Clarke, Brad Sheppard, and Gavin Moore — under the guidance of chair Greg Wanchap, will assume Greg’s board responsibilities including his focus on nurturing a positive and professional culture, delivering extraordinary service, and instilling a high level of ethics, governance and standards for the business,” McGees directors said.
