PROPERTY group Boyuan Holdings has hired former AMP Capital executive Andrew Quade to bolster its capabilities in the industrial property sector.
Quade has over 25 years’ experience in property development, acquisitions, valuation and asset management. He joins from AMP Capital, where held the position of head of logistics development and investment. Prior to that. He worked at Lend Lease and GPT.
In this new role, he will lead the delivery and management of BHL’s industrial property assets and projects, overseeing planning, development, governance, stakeholder management, government relations, financial control and sales and marketing.
His initial focus will be driving the ‘Northern Gateway’ project at Badgerys Creek, adjacent to the Western Sydney (Nancy Bird Walton) International Airport, to transform the 344-hectare site into a major employment, logistics and mixed-use precinct servicing the Airport and greater Aerotropolis.
BHL’s chief operating officer Paul Hourigan said the appointment would strengthen the company’s capability across its major industrial development projects.
“Andrew’s wealth of experience in asset management, project delivery and his deep understanding of the NSW industrial property sector will be a great asset to BHL, as we finalise the Masterplan of the Northern Gateway project and grow our wider industrial asset and development portfolio,” he added.
Quade said he was excited to be joining BHL at a time when the company had commenced diversifying its development projects in south-western and western Sydney.
“I am looking forward to leading the roll-out of the transformational Northern Gateway project and pursuing other opportunities in the high-demand industrial property sector,” Quade concluded.
