REAL estate fund manager EG has bolstered its Sydney office with the appointment of James McAdam.
McAdam has been appointed to the role of fund manager for the Yield Plus Infrastructure Property Fund No. 2 (YPI2). Formerly a portfolio manager with CIP Asset Management at Challenger Group, he brings 20 years’ experience across the funds management and finance industries.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome James to EG as fund manager for YPI2,” said EG executive director Roger Parker.
“His expertise in fund, portfolio and asset management is a great addition to the depth of the EG team,” he added.
The YPI2 strategy seeks to acquire a portfolio of yield-producing real estate assets located in close proximity to new or upgraded infrastructure such the recently acquired Abbotsford office building in Melbourne.
In his new role, McAdam will also lead the strategic delivery in EG’s newly launched Urban Regeneration Joint Venture, which continues the success of YPI2.
