DEVELOPER Cedar Woods has appointed former Dexus chief investment officer and Lendlease corporate finance head Paul Say to its board as an independent non-executive director.
Say will take the position from Monday.
With over 40 years of experience in the commercial and residential property sector, he will bring corporate finance, capital allocation and investment management experience to the board.
Based in NSW, Say is currently a non-executive director of ASX-listed ALE Property Group, SGX-listed Frasers Logistics & Industrial Fund and the Cameron Brae Group. His is also a board member of Women’s Community Shelters and a panel member of the NSW Urban Growth Advisory Board.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Cedar Woods chairman William Hames said Say’s appointment is important in positioning the company to deliver its strategic growth agenda.

Cedar Woods’ recently announced the recruitment of Brendan Gorringe into the role of national acquisitions manager.
Say will join the audit and risk management committee and the remuneration and nominations committee. Robert Brown will step down from those committees after a transition period so that they are comprised only of independent directors.
