CBRE has promoted Jordan Kies to lead its South Australian industrial and logistics business.
Kies is assuming the role from long-standing leader David Reid to allow him to fully focus on upper end I&L brokerage pursuits, working closely with CBRE colleague Jon Nitschke.
He joined the South Australian business 10 years ago, initially in a valuation role and most recently as a director within the capital markets team.
CBRE’s SA senior managing director Alistair Laycock said the appointment comes at a time when the industrial and logistics sector has emerged as a preferred asset class for a growing number of domestic and international investor groups.
“Jordan’s progression into the leadership role and David’s move to fully focus on client pursuits is a ‘win win’ for our business, highlighting our focus on advancing our up-and-coming talent and bringing a fresh approach to the operational structure of our South Australian I&L business, while ensuring that we continue to enhance our client service offering and market leadership in the I&L sector,” Laycock said.
