COMMERCIAL real estate finance group MaxCap has appointed National Australia Bank executive Johnny Woodhouse as the new state director in Victoria.
He brings more than 15 years’ experience and joins from NAB where he was an originations director of the corporate & institutional property team, responsible for driving NAB’s debt business with family office and fund managers in Victoria. Prior to that, he held roles within ANZ’s loan structuring & execution team in Melbourne and spent several years as a solicitor in the Mallesons Stephen Jaques banking and finance team.
In this new role, Woodhouse will be primarily responsible for the origination and execution of structured real estate finance deals and developing relationships with borrowers.

Woodhouse will report to Bill McWilliams, who was recently promoted to the position of chief investment officer.
In other appointments, David Oudshoorn joined MaxCap as state director – NSW to spearhead the future growth of the organisation’s NSW and ACT business.
