CUSHMAN & Wakefield has appointed Stuart Duncan as director, industrial tenant advisory in Melbourne.
He has over 20 years’ experience and joins from Visy Industries, where he was national property manager for all freehold and leasehold properties.
Prior to that he was a senior real estate manager at DTZ, performing the lead role of the corporate real estate business unit for the Victorian government’s Department of Treasury and Finance.
“We are thrilled to welcome someone of Stuart’s calibre to Cushman & Wakefield, which is a testament to the strength of our tenant advisory business,” managing director, tenant advisory group ANZ Michael Kearins said.
“Despite undergoing a strict and extended lockdown, Melbourne is now well-positioned for a strong recovery, and new stock coming to market late this year should be a good indicator for 2021. The industrial market has weathered the pandemic particularly well, and we expect this to continue,” he added.
Duncan added: “It’s a pleasure to join Cushman & Wakefield, particularly at a time when Victoria is poised for a solid recovery over the next year. I’m looking forward to helping clients deliver favourable leasing outcomes and help them to navigate a strong industrial market.”
