THE NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) has awarded Ventia an extension of its contract providing asset maintenance services.
The 18-month extension will generate revenue of $124 million with the opportunity to provide additional programs of work volumes of $160 million subject to proceeding with further approvals.
The original contract was awarded in April 2016 and the extension will increase the term up to December 2022. Ventia delivers more than 350,000 programs of work annually for LAHC in about 60,000 homes.
Ventia group executive of defence and social infrastructure Derek Osborn said: “The award of this extension is testament to the exceptional service delivered by our team throughout our 18-year relationship with NSW Land and Housing Corporation, and from the outset of this contract. I’m pleased that this extension provides the opportunity to continually innovate and improve our service for the benefit of LAHC, its tenants and the wider communities.”
