JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group has strengthened its team with three new appointments.
Chloe Mason joins in Perth and Scott Parker in Brisbane as senior executives, and Gillian Berardi in the role of national marketing specialist.
Mason joins JLL after nearly five years with CBRE in both Perth and Brisbane as a senior sales executive.
Parker brings nearly 10 years of hospitality industry experience and relationships with senior sales positions including nearly five years’ experience at CBRE Hotels.
Berardi will bring her campaign management and communications skills to the national team.
They will work alongside national director, pub division John Musca and Australasian managing director – head of investment sales Australasia, Peter Harper.
Musca said the national pubs division now draws on the experience of 12 specialists in an increasingly consolidating industry where cross-border representation is becoming central to the national expansion platforms of many operating groups.
“We’re building the team in anticipation of brokerage activity following a Nike swoosh trajectory in the medium term across the country,” he added.
Asia Pacific Hotels & Hospitality Group CEO Mike Batchelor said Australia remained a key focus for JLL as the market fundamentals (similar to Japan, China and South Korea) comprised a strong domestic base insuring Australia, like these other countries will be the first to recover once the current COVID-19 travel restrictions ease round the region.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group has a team of 80 people in 10 offices, 30 of them based in Australasia making it the largest specialist hospitality group in the region. Independent analyst firm Real Capital Analytics has ranked JLL the No.1 hotel advisory in Asia Pacific for the past nine successive years.
