KNIGHT Frank has secured a major recruitment coup with the appointment of Andrea Roberts as national head of office leasing.
She has more than 25 years’ experience and joins from AMP Capital, where she was head of investment management for office.
Prior to AMP Capital, Roberts’ previous roles included head of asset management, office and logistics at GPT and regional portfolio manager at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.
Roberts said she was looking forward to moving into agency and drive further growth in Knight Frank’s leasing team nationally.
“I look forward to leading the leasing team and working with our valued clients as the industry faces various challenges due to COVID-19.
“My client-side experience has given me the ability to truly understand what drives superior asset performance and in turn deliver stronger returns to owners and their investors; this is what Knight Frank continually challenge themselves to do through our approach to long-term relationships,” she continued.
National head of agency Ben Schubert said Roberts was the right fit for the role and is not only highly experienced, but very well respected in the industry.
“After a comprehensive search Andrea was selected for this role due to her embodiment of Knight Frank’s values and her extensive experience and knowledge.
“For over 10 years Andrea has built and led high-performing teams within the Australian property market, working for major institutions in investment management,” he added.
CEO Rod Leaver said the appointment aligned with the strategic direction of Knight Frank.
“Andrea’s high-calibre skills are an asset for driving our business’s growth by providing an unparalleled service for our valued clients,” he said. “This appointment will help to ensure our clients are offered the best solutions and advice, particularly in the current period of uncertainty.”
