COMMERCIAL agent Terence Yeh has launched his own firm, The Leasing Agency, focussing on the CBD and suburban markets, particularly the retail sector.
In recent years, Yeh has leased thousands of sqm of space to a number of high profile retailers.
Yeh said traditional real estate agencies often prioritise the interests of vendor clients over leasing clients due to the vast difference in commissions between selling and leasing properties.
“We have identified a gap in the marketplace for a specialist commercial real estate company dedicated to leasing services and establishing and maintaining balanced and sustainable relationships between tenants and landlords.
“The leasing market has been crying out for such a specialised service that focuses on their needs. The large agencies arguably have their fingers in too many pies. We will have our focus on one,”
Yeh said the scope of services to be offered by The Leasing Agency will include tenant representation, lease assignment, renewal negotiation, business brokerage, asset management, strategic planning, and development advisory.
