JLL has appointed Colliers national director Craig Shute as the new managing director for Victoria.
Shute takes over from David Bowden who will step down after six-and-half years at the helm, to focus on Melbourne’s office markets, as director of sales and leasing.
Shute joins from Colliers, where he held the role of national director of capital markets, based in Adelaide.
Prior to that, he was managing director of CBRE in Hong Kong, and before that managing director of their Las Vegas, San Diego, and Adelaide businesses.
JLL Australia CEO Stephen Conry said: “David Bowden has presided over enormous growth for our business in Victoria, which has doubled in size in the past five years. Since joining JLL in 1981, David has held a number of roles including national head of office leasing and we support his move back to office markets to focus on deals and clients.
“We are pleased to welcome Craig Shute to the role. His experience in senior business management roles across Australia and overseas is diverse and well regarded,” Conry said.
