NATIONAL valuations and advisory firm m3property has appointed Luana Kenny to the role of managing director of the Victorian office.
Kenny, a certified practicing valuer, an associate of the Australian Property Institute and holder of a Bachelor of Business (Property) degree, has been with the firm for almost 20 years.
She will take over responsibility from former CEO Grant Jackson, who had combined MD duties with his CEO role over the last 10 years.
Jackson said Kenny thoroughly deserved the promotion on the back of hard work, dedication, her passion for the property sector and her leadership qualities.
“In an industry which routinely promotes men over women this appointment is an indication of just how highly regarded Luana is, not just at m3property, but across the industry.
“Luana has recently deputized for me on a number of occasions and handled the role with both consummate ease and a great respect for the role and her fellow staff members.
“Her broad valuations experience, her natural people and communication skills, her ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and to remain cool under pressure made her a standout choice,” Jackson said. “We are very lucky to have on our staff such a proven performer with a strong list of attributes which will be hugely beneficial to m3property as we strive to realise our full potential as the leading independent valuations and advisory firm in Australia.”
