JLL has appointed Nick Willis from CBRE as the new director, national retail investments, based in Sydney.
Willis joins from CBRE where he has spent the past 10 years in the retail sector, most recently leading the New South Wales retail investments business division for four years. In the past year, he has transacted in excess of $400 million worth of deals, including Sydney’s Norton Plaza for $153.2 million on behalf of GPT, Moonee Marketplace for Gowings and AMP’s Crossroad Homemaker Centre.
He will work alongside senior directors, Sam Hatcher and Jacob Swan who were jointly appointed to lead the JLL national retail investments team earlier this year.
Further recent appointments to the team include Sam Linden, formally from m3property and in the role of senior retail analyst, Hannah Brisbane as retail investments operations manager and Tracy Tam as senior retail analyst.
Hatcher said, “We welcome Nick to our national team of dedicated retail investment specialists in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Our focus is on delivering a more localised level of service to our clients, specific to the retail centre asset they own, to meet the evolving retail environment.”
