FORMER chief financial officer of iSelect and IOOF, Mark Blackburn has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Lifestyle Communities, and chair of the group’s audit committee.
Blackburn will stand for election at the next annual general meeting in 2020.
He is currently group chief financial officer of McMillan Shakespeare and has over 17 years of experience as a CFO in both listed and unlisted companies in the financial services, manufacturing, and mining services sectors.
Previously, Blackburn was CFO at comparison website and online and online insurance broker iSelect, and prior to that was CFO at listed funds management business IOOF.
“Mark’s appointment brings extensive financial and capital management skills and experience with ASX listed companies, and fills the vacancy left by Tim Poole who retired from the board in August 2019,” Lifestyle chair, Philippa Kelly said.
