STRATHPINE Centre has received the green light to begin a major redevelopment, and has appointed Mainbrace Construction to undertake the works.
Six new retailers will be added to the centre and the works will create about 50 new jobs, beginning in the new year and reach completion by late 2020.
“This redevelopment will secure the long-term future of the centre and allow us to better service the community. It will improve the centre’s street presence and offer a combination of leisure, dining and shopping options to cater for the entire family,” Strathpine centre manager, Chris Gibbons said.
