INVESTA Commercial Property Fund and Gwynvill Group’s 33-level Sixty Martin Place office tower in Sydney’s CBD has reached practical completion.
Sixty Martin Place has over 40,000 sqm of lettable area and earlier this year achieved record high Sydney office rents of over $1,800 per sqm, for space on its higher levels.
Co-working brand Spaces, Japanese megabank Mizuho Bank financial services company Munich Re leased a combined 9,000 sqm across the tower in March. The tower is the only premium grade building in Sydney to be delivered this year.
Architects Hassell, which won an international design competition in December 2014, said the design is sympathetic to the adjacent, heritage listed St Stephens Uniting Church. Construction over the past four years has been overseen by Lendlease.
The building is targeting a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built Rating a NABERS Energy 5 Star in Operation Rating and a Platinum Shell and Core WELL Rating.
