DEVRON Abdol has been named as the new chief financial officer of Aspen Group, shortly after the ASX-listed company announced joint chief executive officers.
Abdol joined Aspen in 2016 and was group finance manager. He has over 15 years of international experience in finance and assurance services in the family office sector and at Ernst and Young in South Africa, USA, the Netherlands and Australia.
Aspen group recently appointed joined chief executive officers, John Carter and David Dixon, following the departure of Joel Cann to Blue Sky, which has since gone into receivership.
A decline in value of its properties resulted in the group reporting a full year statutory loss of $7.92 million, while operating profit rose 4% to $4.96 million, but the group has forecast underlying earnings to jump by 27% in the 2020 financial year.
