RETAIL construction specialist Mainbrace has appointed Peter Armstrong as the new general manager in Victoria.
With a career spanning over the past 25 years, he has held senior roles in the public and private sectors, including leading Invest Victoria and Places Victoria (now Development Victoria).
In the private sector, he also successfully led the ASX listed Redcape Property Fund.
Furthermore, over a 15 year period, he held senior executive roles with Coles, Target, Officeworks, Coles Liquor and Corporate, spanning general business operations, store and property development, supply chain and logistics, business development and acquisitions, and strategy formation and implementation.
Mainbrace managing director Rob Doust described Armstrong’s appointment as a significant strategic move for the company.
“Peter has extensive knowledge and experience in major projects, working with all tiers of Government, in the retail sector, in development management, and in major capital transactions. His vast experience represents a real boost to our business at this key juncture in our Victorian expansion.
“With Peter’s appointment, our Victorian business is in the best possible hands and is poised for further growth. We welcome him to the team,” Doust said.
Armstrong will replace Michael Fague, who heads back to Sydney due to family commitments, to form part of the Mainbrace NSW team.
