CBRE has expanded its Australian project management platform with the appointment of David Keenan to a new national role as director – science and research.
A scientist by profession, he held several senior operational positions at the Garvan Institute before being appointed as project development director for the $1 billion Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (PPP) development in Melbourne. Most recently, he held a national role for a major US based design group as principal and national director of education, science and technology.
CBRE’s managing director, project management, Scott Jackson said Keenan would focus on driving new business opportunities through his strong networks in the science, research and university sectors.
“David brings a wealth of subject matter expertise, which will help drive CBRE’s planned growth across the research and university sectors and complement our growing skill base in these complex market segments,” Jackson said.
