SANDRAN Property Group has reached the first milestone for the new Manunda Place project in the heart of Darwin CBD.
The company has completed the ground floor slab and the next milestone will be the completion of the basements with works commencing at the ground floor plane.
Due to completion in 2020, the nine-storey office tower will become a new home for Department of Health, housing over 800 staff.
Northern Territory Minister for Corporate and Information Services, Lauren Moss said the Manunda Place CBD revitalisation project is creating 250 construction jobs.
“This $75 million construction plan has been fast-tracked providing an immediate and much needed boost to the local construction sector and Territory economy,” Moss said.
