BRISBANE Airport Corporation (BAC) has hired QIC Global Real Estate’s investment general manager Scott Douglas to run its property division.
Douglas has been appointed executive general manager, property. He brings 25 years’ experience including 16 years with QIC. Prior to that, he was with Westfield as a development executive.
CEO Gert-Jan De Graaff said Douglas is ideally placed to take the reins of one of Queensland’s most exciting property businesses.
“With 500 hectares of developable land located at the cross-roads of some of Queensland’s most important arterial roads, and just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane Airport is a strategic development site for a vast array of businesses.
“Scott will also lead a number of BAC projects including the expansion of the retail and office precinct at Skygate and BNE Auto Mall, which are two substantial projects currently underway on site.
“We look forward to Scott bringing his vision and significant skill to the challenge of how to best develop this land for the benefit of the community and the many industries that use Brisbane Airport,” de Graaff said.
