CBRE appointed new state leaders in New South Wales and Victoria.
Andrew Roy, AMP Capital’s head of global origination & transactions, real estate will be joining the agency later this year to lead NSW office and Dean Hunt has been promoted to run the Victorian business.
CBRE’s Pacific President & CEO Phil Rowland said the appointments highlighted the firm’s growth.
“We conducted an exhaustive internal and external search to identify the right people to oversee our largest Pacific geographies.
“Andrew was a clear standout to assume the NSW leadership, given his exceptional background in capital markets, breadth of industry knowledge and proven leadership expertise. In Victoria, we identified Dean as the natural successor for the state leadership based on his leadership track record and deep knowledge of CBRE, our clients and our future growth drivers,” Rowland said.
Roy joins CBRE after 15 years at AMP Capital, following senior roles at Investa and Westpac. He will also join the firm’s Pacific Executive Committee (EC).
Hunt will succeed Mark Coster, who recently assumed sole responsibility for CBRE’s Pacific Capital Markets business. He will also join the Pacific EC.
