OSK Property’s $2.8 billion six-tower Melbourne Square mixed-use development has won two awards at the International Property Awards in Bangkok.
It was awarded the ‘Residential High-rise Architecture’ and the ‘Mixed-use Development’ Awards at the 2019/20 Asia Pacific Property Awards.
The highly prestigious International Property Awards recognise the best projects globally, with previous winners including London’s landmark Kings Cross Gasworks apartments, the Royal Academy of Music and Heathrow Airport.
OSK Property chairman Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat said the team was thrilled to be recognised alongside some of the best names in the industry globally.
“It is a rarity to be recognised for two awards – we are most proud of this achievement and hope that our future occupants share our excitement at these wins.
“Melbourne Square will not only deliver a beautiful addition to Melbourne’s skyline but provide transformative public space that residents and the surrounding community will be able to enjoy as part of the enhanced arts precinct,” he said.
Melbourne Square’s first stage of 1,054 apartments is more than 75% sold, with a number of record transactions in recent months that has seen many buyers combine apartments to create super-homes in the sky. To date, 19 apartments worth a total $32 million have been combined into 9, while $78 million in sales have been made to buyers who’ve purchased more than one apartment.
Construction on both towers is underway.
