JLL is expanding its national industrial service offering with the appointment of supply chain expert, Bruce Myers.
Myers has been appointed director of supply chain & industrial.
JLL head of industrial Victoria Matt Ellis said the move is aimed to strengthen the firm’s capability in Australia to better service a growing demand among domestic and international clients.
Myers joins JLL from Chainalytics where he led the Australian consulting team working with leading national and multinational clients across many industries including retail, pharmaceutical and industrial.
“Bruce brings specialised skills to JLL in the form of network strategy, inventory optimisation, warehouse design and facility master planning.
“The industrial sector is growing in relevance in Australia and remains one of the nation’s most sought-after sectors, by both domestic and global players. This growth is driven by the expanding e-commerce sector, increased focus on an agile supply chain network, the growing food and grocery sector and increased investment in technology and automation.
“We view supply chain consulting as an enabler to our industrial business and see great opportunity to provide our clients with added value with this new consulting service. Having Bruce on the ground improves our overall capability and ability to proactively meet our client’s needs,” Ellis said.
