REGIS Healthcare has appointed Linda Mellors to succeed Ross Johnston as chief executive and managing director.
Mellors will begin with the company in August, having been chief executive health services of Mercy Health since March of 2015 as well as chief operating officer since June last year.
Johnston announced his decision to step down in February, and will vacate the role on 4th September.
“Linda holds Bachelor degrees and a PhD from Monash University and is an experienced and capable leader with a long commitment to providing outstanding care to residents, patients and their families,” Regis chairman, Graham Hodges said.
“Given Linda’s wealth of experience and proven track record in the health care sector (including clinical health services and governance, residential aged care and home care), she will bring a new perspective and insights to our company at a time of considerable change and reform.”
