STRONG market fundamentals in the ACT has prompted Colliers to expand its residential sales team further.
The firm’s office has grown from eight to 12 agents over the past six months, with the latest addition being Sisi Chen.
“While the market has softened everywhere, the fundamentals, such as population growth, low vacancy rates and rental yields, are still positive in the ACT,” Colliers director residential, Shane Radnell said. “Combined with the number of quality residential projects being delivered by leading local developers, we are expanding, not contracting.”
Michael Pearson and Nathan Burraston recently rejoined the Colliers team, while Tom Maloney was appointed in November.
According to MyHousingMarket chief economist Andrew Wilson, 15,000 real estate agents have left the industry since the peak of the market in 2017.
