KNIGHT Frank has moved to bigger offices and made a number of key appointments within its western Sydney and South Sydney teams, to meet the growing demand within the region triggered by big spending projects such as the Badgery’s Creek Airport and WestConnex.
John Swanson, previously associate director, industrial, western Sydney has been promoted to head of industrial. Industrial director Peta Antoniou has relocated from South Sydney to western Sydney to help lead the team amidst growing demand.
Head of retail & NSW Richard Horne said the changes reflect the nature of Knight Frank as a fast-growing, dynamic business.
“We’re thrilled with the new appointments which will support the burgeoning South Sydney and Western Sydney teams.
“John Swanson has been a rising star in the business and his appointment to Head of Industrial reflects his growing stature in the Western Sydney market. With demand for industrial space in Western Sydney skyrocketing, John’s wealth of experience will be invaluable to the team.” Horne said.
Head of industrial NSW Matthew Lee said the appointments were a strategic move to bolster the teams during peak growth.
“We’re excited about the renewed focus on South Western Sydney, a prominent area in the industrial sector right now. Demand for industrial property in South West Sydney has increased significantly, and with the development of Badgerys Creek Airport and record population growth in the area, we’re only going to see activity continue.” Horne said.
