MELBOURNE-based real estate automated communications platform ActivePipe has appointed the Domain Group’s former director of corporate & enterprise – Asia Pacific, David Young Choi, as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).
Choi brings over 15 years’ experience in corporate and business development, marketing and strategy. His extensive executive background working with Australia’s largest real estate brands includes Fairfax Media, News limited, Domain Group, REA Group’s realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au, and as a founding member and CCO for Homepass, Australia’s leading OFI application.
CEO Ashley Farrugia said the appointment represents another remarkable step for the company who over the last 12 months have experienced significant growth in Australia and overseas, securing three Australian Business Awards and successfully completing a $5.9m Series A funding round led by NAB Ventures and joined by PieLab Venture Partners.
“David Choi has extensive experience across the Australian and New Zealand real estate markets. He is well known in the industry for his integrity, depth of knowledge and understanding of the sector and as such, we are delighted to have him join the team in our mission to improve the lives of real estate agents around the globe with our technology,” Farrugia said.
Choi said ActivePipe’s drive for innovation and cutting-edge creative technology will continue to see the company go from strength-to-strength.
“The shift in customer expectations and the need for personalised communication has eroded traditional product and service differentiation. ActivePipe helps customers deliver unique messaging, through integrated data, personalised journeys and is a clear leader in marketing automation and discovery technology.” Choi said.
