DEPARTMENT store David Jones is looking to draw in big spending customers with a new luxury designer shoe and bridal level, as part of the its Sydney CBD redevelopment.
Retail construction specialist Mainbrace has recently completed the new level, marking the first stage of the iconic department store’s transformation.
Mainbrace is responsible for delivering the $200 million redevelopment of the David Jones Elizabeth Street store.
Brands like Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and Christian Louboutin are now showcased in a unique, 3000 purpose-designed and built designer shoe setting.
The new 400 sqm bridal area has been designed and crafted with exceptional care, offering plenty of space, luxury fitting rooms, a podium, gift register and other complementary amenities.
“We’re proud to be working with David Jones to help them re-imagine this iconic department store and realise their vision to create a retail experience like no other,” Mainbrace managing director Rob Doust said.
