WOODSIDE Energy has awarded Cushman & Wakefield the facilities management and workplace services contract for its new global headquarters in Perth’s CBD, known as Mia Yellagonga.
Built by Multiplex, Mia Yellagonga is a brand new campus style complex located at 17 Mount St, and comprises the 54,810 sqm NLA Karlak office tower and Kooya, a separate four-storey office at the south west corner with 500 sqm floor plates.
Other key features include the Cara Auditorium with a capacity of 400, end of trip facilities with over 650 bike spaces, gymnasium, pool, outdoor recreation spaces, commercial kitchen, catering and cafeteria, as well as spaces for the families of Woodside employees to visit.
Woodside appointed Cushman & Wakefield following a two-stage competitive tender process that ran over the first half of 2018. Cushman & Wakefield’s successful bid was led by Benjamin Tracey, director client solutions with Dylan O’Donnell responsible for the ongoing service to Woodside.
“We’re delighted to be associated with this outstanding campus. Mia Yellagonga sets the standard for Australian workplaces, offering focus, collaboration and innovation spaces that interface perfectly with onsite services. The fitness and recreational facilities are unparalleled and this is all underpinned by cutting edge technology and a true connection to the surrounding community and heritage of the site.” Tracey said.
Meanwhile Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Bret Madden to the role of account director, to lead the agency’s onsite team. He was previously head of occupier services Western Australia with Knight Frank.
