KNIGHT Frank has appointed Dermot Lowry as the new national head of occupier services.
He joins the firm from GPT where he held the role of director, leasing – office & logistics for the past four years.
Based in the Sydney office, Lowry will join a growing national team including Matt Martin, Partner, head of occupier services, Queensland; James O’Neill, director, occupier services, New South Wales and Gordon Wyllie, director, occupier services, Victoria.
Knight Frank COO Aaron McGhee said he brings a wealth of experience and strong relationships on both sides of the table.
McGhee said that this is a significant appointment and recognises the shift in the market which is increasingly occupier-led.
“Knight Frank sees the growth of the occupier services business as the key driver behind the evolution of the Australian property market, with more sophisticated occupiers demanding fully integrated property solutions, to support overall business success in a fast-changing global environment,” he concluded.
