AMP Capital has completed its second purpose-built facility at Casula’s Crossroad Logistics Centre.
The purpose-built is the new Sydney regional office for WesTrac, the Caterpillar dealer for New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia.
The facility includes circa 8,000 sqm of workshop/warehouse and office space, and circa 16,500 sqm of external hardstand for WesTrac, which has a 15-year lease.
“Crossroads Logistics Centre represents AMP Capital’s return to industrial development and we couldn’t be prouder of the team’s success, having now committed over 64,000 sqm in two years,” AMP Capital managing director, office and industrial, Luke Briscoe said.
In addition to WesTrac joining Crossroads Logistics Centre, Versiclad, an Australian owned manufacturing business, have also committed to 4,500sqm on a 12-year term at the precinct. Construction of the purpose-built facility will begin in the coming weeks.
Crossroads Logistics Centre is owned by the AMP Capital Diversified Property Fund (ADPF) and once complete will accommodate approximately 80,000 sqm of high quality warehouse and office space across three separate precincts.
Following these development milestones, and the completion of 12,500 sqm distribution centre and showroom for Cosentino Tiles in May 2017 and 22,900 sqm facility for Electrolux Home Products due for completion in August, there is only one last remaining lot, Precinct B.
