RETAIL construction specialist Mainbrace has won three jobs in Queensland with Vicinity Centres, QIC and Coles, worth in excess of $30 million.
Mainbrace will soon start work on the luxury precinct upgrade at QueensPlaza for Vicinity Centres.
The company has been appointed by QIC to undertake a series of significant enhancement works at the Marsden Park shopping centre, with works to commence this month.
Finally, Coles has awarded Mainbrace the contract for a new neighbourhood centre, with a supermarket and speciality stores, at Rochedale.
“Queensland is a key growth market for Mainbrace and we’re looking to leverage the strong relationships we’ve built with Australia’s leading shopping centre owners and retailers on a national basis to grow our pipeline north of the Tweed,” Mainbrace QLD state manager Duncan McAndrew said.
“These new appointments set the scene for an active 12 months ahead, and we anticipate making further new project announcements in the months to come,” he added.
The new appointments represent the first projects Mainbrace has undertaken for Vicinity Centres and QIC in the sunshine state, and the second for Coles. The company recently completed an interior refurbishment for Vicinity Centres at Bankstown Central in Sydney and has delivered over 160 projects for Coles nationally.
