SINGAPORE’S ARA Asset Management has joined Cromwell’s register.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of ARA has completed the acquisition of a 19.5% stake in Cromwell from South Africa’s Redefine Properties.
“We have already had the pleasure of introducing the ARA executive team to our Australian and European platforms,” Cromwell CEO Paul Weightman said.
“Cromwell’s European platform has €4 billion in assets under management from an extensive network of 200 real estate professionals in 20 offices across 12 countries. Our team has a successful track record of sourcing and managing investments across asset classes and geographies for both private equity and institutional investors.
“This month’s announcement of our strategic partnership with Bouygues, focusing on Central European Logistics assets, is an endorsement of our sourcing capabilities. We are continuing to build an attractive pipeline of European opportunities. We are actively working with ARA and other clients to crystallise these opportunities,” he concluded.
“We look forward to helping to connect Cromwell to ARA’s deep network of capital partners,” ARA Australia CEO David Blight said.
