AUSTRALIA Fair has completed stage one of its $25 million redevelopment, giving the food court its first major facelift in 23 years.
The central food court area has undergone a major revamp from the cafeteria-style layout to a new floorplan featuring a mix of lounge style bench seating, high bars, upgraded amenities and pendant lighting.
Australia Fair general manager Ramon Otten said works to the main food court area were the most recent in a major phase of the centre’s redevelopment project, ensuing the recently revitalised Scarborough Street entrance, ground floor concourse and new-look Coles.
“Following on from the successful redevelopment of Coles, together with the Scarborough Street entrance and ground floor concourse, we are excited to unveil the next stage of Australia Fair’s revitalisation, being the new-look central food court,” Otten said. “The transformation will see customers enjoy a selection of international dining options, from fresh salads, sushi and Vietnamese, as well as new furniture and facilities, as the iconic Broadwater facing food court becomes a modern dining precinct that exudes a strong coastal ambience with a contemporary new-look.”
Other new food tenancies that have recently joined the Centre include, Vintage Grind, Uncle Bills, Stellar Vietnamese Street Food and U Grill.
