SAVILLS has made eight key appointments in New South Wales and Canberra, including a new strategic real estate services team.
Hugh Halpin, Ben Adler, Kristiaan Letsch and Smita Sundarjee have joined the agency to establish the new strategic real estate services team, they previously worked within the private sector and most recently with Property NSW.
“This is an exciting addition to the Savills’ business as the team led by Hugh will continue to focus on work for the state and federal government, whilst also expanding their offering to Private Clients, Institutions and both local and offshore real estate investors,” Savills Australia and New Zealand Paul Craig said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to offer a strategic service to a diverse range of clients with the support of the extensive Savills experience and knowledge. This broad experience will enable the delivery of bespoke real estate solutions to all clients across both the public and private sectors,” Halpin said.
Savills also appointed Adele Eagleton as the new director of project Management in New South Wales. She joins after five years as director of operations, project and program management, at Jacobs Australia.
Eagleton is the first senior appointment by the managing director of project management, Gavin Boswarva who joined Savills at the start of 2017.
She brings over 30 years experience and in her previous role, Eagleton led teams managing projects with a value of over $2.5 billion across Australia. She previously also held the role of general manager of Lend Lease Consulting.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Gavin and the team at Savills. I look forward to working closely with the leadership team to grow our business and provide clients with superior service.” Eagleton said.
Savills has also appointed Stephanie Ballango as associate director of advisory within project management. Bellango has over 15 years’ experience and has also held posts as a policy advisor to the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s and the Minister for Planning.
Key projects include Parramatta Road Corridor Urban Transformation Strategy, Bays Precinct and Bays Market District (Sydney Fish Market), Barangaroo, Royal North Shore Hospital, Thornton Park in Penrith and Edmondson Park in Liverpool.
In Canberra, Savills has appointed Nic Purdue as director, commercial sales. He joins from Knight Frank where for the past three years, he has led the ACT institutional sales business.
Finally Nick Tuxworth has joined as associate director of metropolitan & regional sales. He has four years of experience, specialising in development site sales and metropolitan investments.
