SAVILLS has strengthened its Canberra team with the appointment of Nic Purdue in the role of director, commercial sales.
Purdue joins from Knight Frank where for the past three years, he has led the ACT institutional sales business, and recently handled the sales of 11 Moore St and large-scale residential development sites on behalf of the ACT Government.
Prior to Knight Frank, he worked in metro sales at JLL in Canberra and North Sydney.
In his new role, he will work closely with ACT managing director Andrew Stewart.
Savills Australia CEO Paul Craig said Purdue’s appointment was a major win and will help bolster the agency team in Canberra.
“We are now 18 months’ into a new growth plan for the Australian business and building a strong platform in our Nation’s capital is an important part of our growth.
“We will use this expanding Savills’ platform to further explore opportunities covering government, private and institutional requirements and we are excited to welcome Nic to our team.” Craig said.
“The ability to recruit a talent of Nic’s calibre is a strong message to the market that the growth strategy for Savills ACT is well and truly underway and we hope to announce more recruits shortly.” Stewart said.
