PRIVATE developer Pellicano has won the $20 million tender to deliver a new distribution centre for Dulux in Dandenong South.
Construction has started on the 18,000 sqm facility on a two-lot 45,000 sqm site, within Pellicano’s M2 Industry Park in Melbourne’s south-east, which is the home of retail giant Amazon’s 24,000 sqm fulfilment centre.
Dulux agreed to a 10-year deal within the park, with completion expected in July 2018. It will replace Dulux’s existing distribution centre on the South Gippsland highway. The site will feature 600 sqm of office space and 500 sqm of battery charge area.
Pellicano will manage the design and construction of the project.
