RURAL Bank’s Simon Altschwager presents the Australian Property Institute’s Technical Information Papers (TIPs) “Market Value of Rural and Agribusiness Properties”.
This TIP replaced the previous Guidance Note “ANZVGN 10 Valuation of Agricultural Properties”, which has now been withdrawn.
The objective of this TIP is to provide advice to Members undertaking valuations of any rural or agribusiness property for any purpose. Valuations of rural and agribusiness properties should only be undertaken by suitably qualified and experienced Valuers.
The TIP – Market Value of Rural and Agribusiness Properties, converted from the previous guidance note (ANZVGN 10), has been developed by the Australian Valuation Standards Committee in conjunction with the Agricultural Working Party.
The API has certification for a specific Certified Development Practitioner (CDP) for which this TIP would be most applicable, however, there are various other certifications which may depending upon the role of the property professional be relevant including;
- Certified Property Practitioner (CPP)
- Certified Development Practitioner (CDP)
- Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV)
