KNIGHT Frank’s Asset Management Services (AMS) division has won the bid to manage Sydney’s landmark Chifley Tower.
Following a competitive tender process, the Singapore government’s investment firm, GIC, picked Knight Frank.
Chifley Tower boasts 63,940.9 sqm of prime lettable space over 42 levels. Notable tenants include UBS, Blackrock, Investec, Morgan Stanley and Sumitomo.
Knight Frank’s AMS manager director Aaron McGhee said the asset will further strengthen Knight Frank’s position in the Sydney market.
“We’re extremely pleased to add such a prestigious property to our expanding management portfolio–securing a property of Chifley Tower’s calibre really demonstrates our growing presence in Sydney’s Premium grade office market. I’m so proud of the team – Linda Rudd, Rob Worlsey and Nicola McKenzie – who worked tirelessly through the tender process and delivered some outstanding long-term leasing strategies which we look forward to implementing.
“We are also pleased to confirm that Rob Worsley will join the Knight Frank business as General Manager of Chifley Tower. Rob joins us from GPT where we he was General Manager of 580 George Street, workplace6 and 2 Park Street Sydney. Rob has significant experience managing premium assets and will play a critical role in the AMS senior leadership team,” McGhee said.
