PLUS Architecture has appointed Luke Henderson as a director.
The former Gensler design director, brings 14 years of experience and an impressive portfolio that spans across the globe.
“Now in our 20th year and with six offices across Australia and New Zealand, it is paramount that we bolster our team with the best talent possible,” Plus Architecture director Craig Yelland.
Assuming a key design leadership role both locally and internationally, Henderson will join fellow director Danny Juric in leading the practice’s Brisbane office, which after just three years already accounts for 25% of Plus Architecture’s current portfolio.
“We’re in a unique position. Our firm is growing on the back of demand for international architectural excellence, and simple good service. Or clients continue to invest into Brisbane and desire to surround themselves with dependable, experienced and accountable teams. This is what +Plus adds” Juric said.
Henderson said he was attracted to Plus Architecture’s progressive designs, processes and strategic initiatives.
“The decision to relocate from Chicago was made all the easier by Plus Architecture’s amazing design culture, talent, passion for design, and natural collaboration. It was these aspects that inspired me to take up the role here,” Henderson said. “I am excited to join a practice of Plus Architecture’s calibre and to work alongside a team of renowned experts, for whom architecture and design is more than just a job.”
