MULTIPLEX has reached the highest point of Hengyi Pacific’s $170 million 70-storey residential tower in the Melbourne CBD.
The Light House will comprise 607 apartments.
“We are delighted to achieve this milestone on Light house. There have been many challenges to get to this point with the small building footprint requiring a complex delivery and loading schedule. Our experience and upfront detailed project logistic planning enables us to counter the complexities of building towers within active CBD environments,” Multiplex regional managing director Graham Cottam said.
“We have reached topping out in record time several months earlier than anticipated, saving time on every floor cycle by using these methods. Our record time also demonstrates our continued track record of outperformance,” he added.
The tower will feature 66 levels of apartments with a ground floor lobby and retail space over the ground and first levels.
Multiplex has also been engaged to undertake Hengyi’s next development Swanston Central at 170 Victoria St Carlton, of which sales are down to the last 10%
with Colliers International as head agent.
