WOOLLAM Constructions has been appointed by Robina Group for its $2 million refurbishment of the Robina Professional Centre.
The vacant three-level commercial building at 36 Laver Drive in the Gold Coast master-planned precinct was acquired by the developer last year for circa $5 million.
The project is expected to be completed by early March and will provide 2,138sqm of net lettable area, with office spaces encompassing form 152sqm to full floors, and 64 on-site parking spaces.
Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater said there had already been strong interest from businesses, which has approval for office, medical and educational uses.
“In particular, there has been strong interest from those in the medical and health sectors, on the back of the significant investment by major health groups in Robina,” Slater said. “This includes the opening of the new $24 million Robina Private Hospital, which complements the existing public hospital, and a $64 million investment across multiple sites by Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust.”
