DEXUS Property Group has started construction of a new development at 105 Phillip St Parramatta.
NSW Minister for Finance, Services & Property Dominic Perrottet joined Geoff Lee, Member for Parramatta, Amanda Chadwick and Dexus chief investment officer Ross Du Vernet to turn the first sod.
105 Phillip Street is A-grade office building spanning 25,000 sqm and will provide a new home for 1,800 NSW Department of Education employees from March 2018, following the Department’s relocation from the Sydney CBD.
“Parramatta is a significant economic and employment hub and continues to provide the ideal location for government and corporate organisations to locate their employees. A recent report shows that Parramatta will have a total workforce of 186,000 by 2021 with a $30 billion economy. We look forward to welcoming Department of Education staff to Parramatta.” Chadwick said.
