CEDAR Woods has started civil construction at the $150 million Jackson Green development in Clayton South, which will include to 350 new dwellings.
Montdami Construction has been appointed as the civil contractor.
“The project, set for completion in 2017, will alleviate congestion in one of Melbourne’s busiest corridors and will allow easy access for residents into the city and neighbouring suburbs,” Cedar Woods state manager Patrick Archer said.
“Jackson Green has met with high demand with a rapid succession of sales during the first four town home releases. Commencement of civil construction represents an exciting milestone in the project,” he added.
Future apartment and town home releases are planned at Jackson Green, with the park frontage Wattle Apartments due for release on 14 September and the next release of town homes scheduled later this year. Civil construction is scheduled for completion in early 2017.
