GREG Hocking Real Estate has opened an office in Elsternwick, its 12th office in Melbourne, as the agency sets a target to open in eight new locations in the coming 18 months.
Local real estate professional Leonard Persichetti will run the Elsternwick office.
Greg Hocking said the key to success is by letting the business naturally align with successful key individuals on their home ground.
“Instead of focusing on up and coming suburbs, we’re looking to concentrate on individuals with an established network and connections in their local area,” Hocking said. “We’re not limiting ourselves to opening offices that adjoin our current footprint – such as Bayside for example – rather looking Melbourne-wide to find the best candidates who can enhance the Greg Hocking brand and reputation in their established location,”
Persichetti and Hocking previously worked together for 10 years in the Bayside area. He is also known as a master auctioneer and has more than 2,000 successful auctions to his credit.
“I’m excited to be going back to my roots, and working with a property personality like Greg again,” Persichetti said. “Greg’s name is synonymous with real estate, and I’m delighted to be establishing the Greg Hocking brand in Elsternwick.”
