DEXUS Wholesale Property Fund has appointed Michael Sheffield as fund manager.
Sheffield has over 23 years of experience and is currently the fund manager of Dexus Property Group’s diversified Australian mandate and has previously held senior roles at Colonial, Investa, Commonwealth Bank and Lend Lease.
In his new role, he will take responsibility for managing DWPF’s $7.1 billion portfolio and its 68 wholesale investors.
“Michael’s appointment follows an extensive independent search. We have a depth of experience within our funds management team that has enabled us to appoint internally,” Dexus executive general manager, funds management, Graham Pearson said.
Acting DWPF fund manager, Jonathan Davies, has been promoted to a fund manager role within the funds management team.
