COLLIERS International has appointed Sam Biggins in the role of director of investment services in Queensland.
Biggins will work with the investment services team across Brisbane, Gold Coast and partner offices in Queensland.
Since 2011, Sam has been based in Colliers offices in Hong Kong and more recently Singapore. Whilst in Asia, he has executed significant transactions and exclusive mandates from major clients, including General Electric, Ping An, PwC, Lloyd’s TSB, Dalian Wanda and China Resources. Building on Sam’s experience and relationships, Colliers International has established an Asia Markets team in the Brisbane office with the appointment of Tony Wang.
Wang will work alongside the Sydney and Melbourne Asia Markets teams to further strengthen the firm’s connectivity with the Asian market.
“It’s a great time to be joining our Queensland business after five years in Asia. Our team has grown significantly in the last 12 months with a number of new hires, and has transacted over $197m worth of assets in FY16 with further growth expected in FY17,” Biggins said.
